Doomsday delayed ???

A new Mayan calendar found in Guatemala: No indication of the end of the world!
The excavated at a house in the historic site discovered Xultun calendar came from the ninth century, the archaeologist William Saturno of Boston University said in a study published on Thursday. The walls in one part of the house were covered with engraved characters, much of it put calculations on the various calendrical cycles of the Mayan dar. The ceremonial calendar of 260 days, the solar calendar of 365 days and even calendars for Venus and Mars, with 584 and 780 days. Others followed the lunar cycle. Gives an accurate indication of the end of the world it is not. So we have to move away from our assumption of a doomsday on 12/22/2012? Or are the aliens going to come on that day? Return of the gods?
