Pioneer 10 is an abandoned NASA space probe, which served the exploration of Jupiter and the interplanetarymedium and the asteroid belt. It was on 3 March 1972 from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral launch an Atlas-Centaur rocket.
The plaque from Pioneer 10 was designed as an information carrier for aliens who could possibly find the probe. It measures 22.9 cm in width and 15.2 cm in height.
