On Easter 1900 was recovered by divers from an ancient Greek shipwreck off the Greek island of Antikythera, a subject which is very compact and consists of a number of gears - the mechanism of Antikythera. The ship is dated to the period from 70 BC. The object was made of bronze and was probably originally surrounded by a wooden case. Archaeologically it is the oldest surviving gear equipment.
Interpretation of the pre-astronautics:
There, the question arises how the Greeks in the first Century BC had the knowledge to build such a mechanism, since this knowledge is not delivered and the associated technology was invented more than 1300 years later.
Interpretation of natural and social science:
It is a kind of analog computer, with which the movements and the relations of the known planets could be calculated with respect. It is noteworthy that the mechanism includes a differential gear, which after 13 only from the original conception Century was known. Was repeatedly examined the scientific equipment, since 2005 through an international collaborative project. Here were characters that were carved into the gears discovered, and partly deciphered. They were a kind of guide to using the device. The device has been reconstructed several times and tested, however, take the investigation still ongoing.
After Derek de Solla Price, Washington, who had examined the mechanism already in the 1950s, the high mechanical and mathematical complexity of the device does not mean that the mechanism could not come out of the time, but that most modern historians of the scientific performance of the ancient estimate is too low.
That makes u think...This is cool, never heard before...
ReplyDeleteCertainly something happened in the past but we can not figure out what...maybe was an aliens...
ReplyDeletebut this machine is awesome!!!!
Never heard before either...if we consider everything what we know about past...no offense but seems to people were smarter then...maybe used to have a help...but this they have done are amazing: piramyds, sfinks..valley of the kings..this machine, all the fantastic temples...question is why later man become stupid...
ReplyDeletethere was a great time and then...darkness..somebody can tell?
