Messaging to Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence - METI attempts to send messages to interstellar humanity from probable intelligent beings beyond our solar system.
In contrast to the program SETI, METI is not aimed at finding something in the sky, and the transmission of signals to the alleged "brothers of the mind" .
Incorrectly assume that the CETI is a combination of SETI + METI. Communication (communication) involves coming into contact, while Search (SETI) and transmission (METI) is only two interrelated processes in an attempt to establish contact.
