Falcon Lake UFO incident

One of the two objects came to rest close to Stephen while the other took the altitude and disappeared behind the foliage of trees. Turning his attention to be placed on the floor, the witness noticed a sulfur smell and a slight hiss. After several minutes of observation, a hatch opened in the object and Stephen perceived sound he likened to the voices that came from the UFO. Thinking it might be a military experimental aircraft, the witness tried to call in English, German and in French, but received no reply. Recovered from his surprise, Stephen approached the object and inspected the door open: he saw that strange light patterns moving in total darkness. Suddenly the door was closed with three sliding panels and Stephen turned his attention to the object by passing his hand over. Contact him that spoke of the "ground glass". Suddenly the cloth gloves worn by the witness began to melt, forcing him to quickly remove his hand. After a few minutes, Stephen was seized with vomiting, headaches and decided to return to the motel. Suffering from severe vomiting, the witness returned to the motel on foot painfully after a member of the mounted police had refused to help him, thinking that Stephen Michalak was drunk. He arrived at the motel around 16:00 and asked immediately to the hotel bar where he could see a doctor. He was told that the first cabinet was more than 75 km . Preferring to return home to Winnipeg , Stephen called his wife to warn her he had had an accident and waited for the bus 20.45.
His son came to welcome him to Winnipeg 10:15 p.m. ET took him immediately to a doctor. The doctor at the Misericordia Hospital who examined immediately noticed burns square whose chest and belly Stephen was covered and in addition, vomiting and headaches did not stop. Two days later, fearing radiation, his GP sent him consult the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the hospital, but the specialist found no trace of radiation and diagnosed a simple thermal burn. Stephen Michalak claimed to have lost about ten kg in the week following his strange encounter. Several official investigators questioned the witness and returned to the scene of observation: they discovered the charred remains of clothes Stephen and several unidentified metal. Traces of radiation were detected extremely important in some places in the area and the metal parts were identified as the money almost pure (98%). Stephen Michalak died in October 1999.
Several doctors testified to the reality of burns suffered by Stephen after his strange observation.
Stephen Michalak was a quiet man and honorably known to his entourage. It has not benefited from this story and we can ask why that might push him to "invent" the whole thing.
